After the nosings were cut. The
best way I've found to accomplish this task is with a reciprocating saw. The
saw dust created is heavier and will normally fall to the floor where it can
be easily vacuumed. I know some installers use a circular saw, but that
makes it impossible to cut all the way to the wall and the high speed
circular motion of the blade throws dust into the air.
